Freedom***

Freedom is clearly important to you,
As the bird on the breeze
Flies free from worry or belief.
Existence just is.
It is the joy to be true to your essence.
The true essence of you, sweet child of God.

Believe you are free
And the chains will drop away like magic.
They will just fall at your feet.
Step out of the mess,
The tangle of chains.
Step free.

Then you can fly with the blackbird.
You are free already in your heart
And your soul is ready to fly
So unhook the chains.

Free the mind.
It is stubborn.
It is afraid.

Love your fearful mind.
Bless your fearful mind.
It does not mean to harm you.
It is afraid and would prefer the safety
And security of what it knows already.

But if you imagine your freedom,
If you visualise it as a concrete thing,
It will surely unfold according to God’s laws.
And that is a miracle in itself.

To be free you just have to see yourself free.
You just have to know
That freedom is all around you.
Just know it.
In every atom of your being.
And your mind will cotton on.
Eventually!

It will catch up.
Habits are addictive.
You don’t even know what you are thinking
Or why you ever did a certain thing as you do.
Where did it all start?
It was so long ago now…

Does it still fit, my friend?
Do you still think that way?

Free up your mind.
It wants to help you
But you must lead the way and be firm.
It is your friend so show it how to help you move on.

Freedom is within you already,
Clearly within reach
So all you must do is acknowledge that it is.

Freedom is.

And so
You are free!!
